Petroglyphs, Indian Arm Provincial Park, BC, Canada
Indian Arm Provincial Park
in BC, Canada
is home to some truly unique
petroglyphs.
The area was traditionally used
by the Coast Salish First Nations
for their hunting and fishing grounds.
The whole area is alive
with the sights and sounds
of life, from the haunting cry of water birds
to the happy bark of Harbour Seals
basking in the afternoon sunshine.
She is magical
and ephemeral
in her natural beauty oft times
shrouded in the mists of cloud and legends.
The petroglyph's are an added
bonus, adding to her
hauntingly mystical charm.
I, for one, will be
back many more times to sample
what she chooses to share with me.

I never knew about these. It sounds like something to put on my must-do list. Thanks.
Hi Stephanie .. I never knew about them either, but they are definitely worth the trip up the Arm to see them. Besides being an incredibly beautiful place, the petroglyphs take you back in time.
