Snowfall in Vancouver, B.C., Canada for March 7, 2009

Just when you think you've had enough of
snow in Vancouver, British Columbia,
she surprises you again.

I saw flakes floating towards me last night
in the neon glow of the city lights.
You feel like you are in another world of
spring flowers, robins,
and fresh snow.

There is even a snowfall warning up.
5 - 10 cm of snowfall expected, plus those
nasty cold winds that play havoc with spring.
Its called a cold front.
After doing some research on cold fronts, I now
have a healthy respect for the
mood swings of Mother Nature.

Time to take the boots back out of storage
and put that extra sweater on.
Vancouver's weather is entertaining
if nothing else!

Don't forget to turn your clocks ahead an hour
tonight Vancouver.
Daylight Savings Time
starts Saturday night.
Loosing an hour of daylight
in the mornings now means
a wonderful summer ahead of
light after 10 PM.

Vancouver, ever changing!

Nice shot. You got snow last night? Srange, because we didn't in Aldergrove. Has been the other way around lately. I'm sure looking forward to some warmer temperatures. Had enough of winter!

Hi Robin! Yes we did get some snow last night. I was expecting a lot more after listening to the forecast. Its pretty well all melted now by afternoon. I agree, I've had enough winter, too! Hope you have a great day.
