Petroglyphs, Indian Arm Provincial Park, BC, Canada

Indian Arm Provincial Park
in BC, Canada
is home to some truly unique
petroglyphs.
The area was traditionally used
by the Coast Salish First Nations
for their hunting and fishing grounds.
The whole area is alive
with the sights and sounds
of life, from the haunting cry of water birds
to the happy bark of Harbour Seals
basking in the afternoon sunshine.
She is magical
and ephemeral
in her natural beauty oft times
shrouded in the mists of cloud and legends.
The petroglyph's are an added
bonus, adding to her
hauntingly mystical charm.
I, for one, will be
back many more times to sample
what she chooses to share with me.

Glen Valley Regional Park, BC, Canada

Glen Valley Regional Park
in Langley, BC, Canada
is an incredibly
picturesque park that borders the
banks of the Fraser River.
Mother Nature is alive and
well here. The sights and sounds
of a newborn British Columbia
summer offer any visitor
a welcome respite from the
rigors of Lower Mainland traffic.

This is only one tiny part of an
area with historic villages ,
forts, wineries,
and too many to mention
adventures to be had.

I haven't made it to all the wineries yet.
Its on the to-do list along
with so many other to-do's
that I'm not sure how I am going to
fit them all into one lifetime.
